Class Scrap Page 11 August 2016

Posted by Kaye Grieve on

This week's page uses vintage colours - soft greens, browns and apricot. Funny cause apricot is not a colour I use (not since the 80's anyway).

Ingredients:

7 Dots Studio Cardstock - Thought Keepers

Stencil Girl Stencil - Pine Cone #1

Liquitex Light Modeling Paste

Finnabair Metallique Paint - Black Berry

Finnabair Opal Magic Paint - Green Gold

Flowers

Green Tara - Blossom Ochre

Button

Metals

Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays - Dark Chocolate TruffleFuzzy Navel PeachSea Grass Green

Tim Holtz Doily #1 Die

Sizzix Die Brush Tool

Tim Holtz Stamp - Papillon

Prima Metallic Chalk Edger - Lead

Liquitex Clear Gesso

Masking Tape.

This photo shows detail of the pine cone stencil - it is supposed to be a stencil and mask (you cut the centre out) but i thought i would try it not cut out and I have to tell you, I'm kinda liking it. Some of the modelling paste did get under the stencil but that was because of the texture of the cut paper strips underneath.

I love the colour I get when mixing Finnabair's paints with modelling paste - they get such a shimmer to them.

You can also see a bit of the faint stamping on and around the masking tape.

The next photo shows the flower colour detail - I used Lindy's sprays in Dark Chocolate Truffle and Fuzzy Navel Peach.

You are welcome to Share or Pin any of my work with a link back to my blog page.

Thanks again.

Kaye xoxo
